The aim of this page is to give you access to the most recent thoughts on my 2019 campaign to get elected as Local Councillor for Oakwood Ward, Derby. I am standing as an Independent candidate, therefore not associated with any party and able to vote in the chamber on my own terms, in a way that I see best represents the people of Oakwood. All I ask is that you take a little time to find out about me so that you can make a fully informed decision on who would be the best candidate.

Some of the blog posts on here date back to my 2016 campaign, when I gained 316 votes (getting up there with UKIP and Labour), and my 2018 campaign when I got 469, only 140 behind Labour. Although some of the issues in them may be out of date, my attitude and approach still remains very much the same.
